Hot Yoga (For All-Beginner Friendly)
Hot yoga is a 75-90 minute class that consists of a series of 26 postures. The postures require lengthy, forceful and well-controlled contractions of all major muscle groups. The demanding nature of the poses and the heat are designed to raise your heart rate and tire your muscles.
Hot Yoga Blend (For All-Beginner Friendly)
Hot yoga blend is a 75 minute class that consists of the basic 26 hot yoga postures with some variations and incorporating sun salutations to introduce the student to Vinyasa.
Vinyasa (Beginner Friendly)
Vinyasa yoga is a 75 minute class in which movement is synchronized to the breath. In this style of yoga, the postures run together in a smooth way. The breath becomes an important component because the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale.
Power Vinyasa (Intermediate Level)
Power Vinyasa Yoga is a 75-90 minute powerful, energetic form of yoga. Students will move fluidly from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. This type of yoga is a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio, and physical and mental stamina in one session. Baron Baptiste, the founder of this form of yoga, describes this practice as “the perfect blend of sweat and serenity.”
Mindasana (For All)
This class is a 40 minute beginner vinyasa flow with a guided 20 minute meditation at the end of class.
Ashtanga Primary Series (For All)
The Ashtanga Primary Series is called Yoga Chikitsa, which means yoga therapy. It is intended to realign the spine, detoxify the body, and build strength, flexibility, and stamina. The series of about 75 poses takes an hour and a half to complete, beginning with sun salutations (surya namaskara A and surya namaskara B) and moving on to standing poses, seated poses, inversions, and backbends before relaxation.
Ashtanga Second Series (Intermediate)
The Intermediate or Second Series is called Nadi Shodana, meaning nervous system purification. It cleanses and strengthens the nervous system and the subtle energy channels throughout the body. This series should be introduced to the student when he/she has become pretty familiar with the primary series. It follows the same progression (sun salutations, standing, sitting etc.) as the primary series, but introduces new poses and variations.
Yoga, Cardio and Strength (For All)
This program incorporates specific cardio and yoga moves. fast upbeat music will be played during cardio and relaxing music during yoga. Cardio and yoga will be in three minute intervals lasting for a total of forty-five minutes, ending with a beautiful relaxation. The program emphasis is on weight control and relaxation techniques. Yoga and cardio work hand in hand to enhance self esteem, promotes healthy living and focuses on the body as a whole; the relationship between mind, body and soul.
Kundalini (For All)
A Kundalini class begins with a short chant followed by a warm-up to stretch the spine and improve flexibility. The main work of the class is called a kriya, which is a structured sequence of poses and pranayama that focuses on a precise area of the body. The class ends with a meditation and a closing song.
Restorative (For All)
Restorative yoga is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props. By using props, it makes it easier for you to maintain balance while you are stimulating and relaxing your body. While some restorative yoga poses are beneficial to the entire body, others target specific parts of the body.
Kids Yoga (Ages 4-9)
Kids yoga is designed specifically for children. It includes poses to increase strength, flexibility and coordination. Classes are intended to be fun and may include age-appropriate games, singing and creative names for poses, art and more! Every Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
Tween Yoga (Ages 10-16)
Tween yoga is designed for tweens/teens. It includes more in depth poses to prepare the child for a lifelong yoga practice. It includes poses to increase strength, flexibility and coordination. More concentration on breathing and meditation are just some of the benefits. (These one hour classes are part of a series on Friday nights at 7:30 p.m.)

Prenatal yoga is a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental centering and focused breathing. Prenatal yoga is safe and can have many benefits for pregnant women and their babies. During the class there will be breathing, gentle stretching, gentle postures and a cool down/relaxation.
These class sessions will be tailored to your needs. Private sessions can be held in the studio or at your home.
